Our talent here comes from many walks of life. Come through our doors and you’ll see a buzzing studio, and sometimes a barking studio, mainly from our resident 4-legged furry friends.
I’m not just tooting our own horn because I work here but the culture and environment we created since the beginning really drives creative opportunities; we love to learn, be inspired, scope out what’s new and experiment with our design ideas, so much so that we’ve been graced with some really great recognition.
Proud dad aside, there’s really lots to toot about working here at LIV. You probably hear lots about workplaces with an endless snack drawer, Friday drinks that continuously flow, flexible work hours, weekly team lunches, a games room etc. etc., so I won’t bore you with that…and yes we do offer all those things. I think what really makes us proud to LIV, work and play here is the creativity, boldness in our design endeavors and the people that carry these out.
We love our multi-talented team here and love learning from them. An example of one of our great LIV ambassadors (and I’m not going to hear the last of it for singling him out) is a multi-talented, multi-disciplined Senior Interior Designers, who’s name I’ll keep anonymous for now. I have proclaimed him our very own Instagram celebrity (and he really is, he’s garnered over 20k followers!). He’s a photography wiz, a writer on the side, and I’m pretty sure he’s a foodie as well because every time I bring up a restaurant, he’s tried it already! And not to mention, he’s also a part-time instructor at a local university and a full-time dad. I honestly don’t think this guy sleeps; that, or he has a body double. I’m not joking when I say our people is what makes us amazing. We’re not just interior designers, we’re designers in all that we do and in all walks of life.
